Hello everyone,
Have you all been enjoying your summer holidays?
Wenxin Chinese School is going to start the lessons the first weekend of September.
For students the lessons start on Saturday September 1st and Sunday 2nd from 10:00 till 12:15.
The lesson for adults starts as usual, from 17:00 till 18:30 on Friday and Sunday.
Prices for adults (older than 18 years) are:
– €10 for one lesson
– €40 per month
– €120 per trimester -or-
– €200 per semester
Prices for students (younger than 19 years) are:
– €7,50 for one lesson
– €30 per month
– €90 per trimester -or-
– €150 per semester
We advise to pay a semester, as it gives most discount.
Our open day:
25th and 26th of august and 1st of September, from 10:00 till 12:00.
You are welcome to come and visit if you are interested.

A letter for students and parents

Dear parents and students,

The western New Year has just passed and the Chinese New Year is coming. On behalf of all teachers, we wish everyone a prosperous 2018, with a lot of luck and love. This is certainly an opportune moment to express our gratitude. Without your support we would not be able to stand firmly here.
In order to develop the school better, we make a few regulations, as follow:
• Respect each other with the idea that everyone is unique and look for common ideas and interests.
• Prohibit physical violence and encourage good behavior. For example: You have to apologize for undesirable behavior.
• Careful handling of the facilities of the school or damage to the school must be compensation.
• Unless the teacher goes along, do not play outside the school building. Because it is too dangerous.
• The kitchen, pantry and office are not intended for students.
• Encourage payment in advance, monthly or quarterly.
• Being on time at the lesson is important. Mobile phone is not allowed using in the class except with the teacher’s permission . During the break time, we prefer that the pupils participate more socially activities and do not always play with the mobile.
We assume that many of you have heard the news about the strike of the Dutch primary schools such as the low teacher salary. The same problem also happens at our school. Declaring the expenses of teachers and using the classroom are the biggest expenses. The bills are paid regardless of whether there are students.
Your suggestions are always welcome. In fact, all kinds of financial support will help our school enormously, so that we can invest for fun activities or interesting books.

Chinese course in xi’an

This summer I achieved my diploma!

Through a shortened education at Overseas Chinese Language and Culture Education Online in Xi’an.

 

Learning & Fun

Perhaps the city of Xi’an is unknown to many people, but Xi’an was the eastern end of the silk route and ever the capital of China in ancient times. By far the largest archaeological find of the 20th century, the Terracotta Empire is close by. Thanks to the organizations (Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and International Chinese College), there were 64 Chinese teachers from all over the world, including Japan, Germany and Russia, a chance to follow a great training program.

 

Despite the hot weather, it was almost unbearable and a few days even above 40 degrees, each participant indicated that she had a positive experience. During these two weeks I know better how to make the lesson more interesting and I realize more how fascinating the Chinese language actually is. The food of Xi’an is very delicious and the city has a rich cultural heritage. In addition to the beauty, I appreciate the hospitality of all volunteers and the College staff. I will definitely recommend this educational and enjoyable program.

With the coming of Spring Festival,all the teachers from Wenxin Chinese School sincerely wish you and your family good healthand happy New Year!

Let’s have a short review. The school has been set up two and a half years, from the beginning of the 5 students to the present around 50 students.We have 3 teachers in total now.The classes from the basic(pin yin group) to grow-up’s.The most important thing is that the students are more and more enthuisastic for studying Chinese.We’re very proud of this.It pushes us to be more responsible.If you want to know more information,you can go to our website www.wenxinchineseschool.nl

We are non-profit school, but we make every time the cost of the rented rooms and the teachers. For the long-term development and improve the administration of our school, we decide as follows:

1.       We hope you can inform us at least one day earlier before the class,if the student will be absent for the weekend lesson.

2.       The tuition fee per month or per semester is paid at the beginning of the month, via our bank account: NL56 RABO 0304 4092 00 or pay in cash.
